1956 Ford Tudor Sedan Army MP Car. First Gear cat no. 18-2806, precisely 1:34 scale, heavy guage die cast metal. U.S. Army MP Car built from a 1956 Ford Tudor Sedan. Large fleets of both Fords and Chevrolets were purchased by the services in 1956 and 1957, most with 6-cyl engines. They continued into service well into the 70s.

This die cast model is Mint in the original box. Measures Approx. 7" long by 2.5" high by 2.25" wide. Awesome graphics, detailed exterior and interior, engine, and undercarriage. The long whip antenna is wrapped up in the foam box interior and has never been mounted. This First Gear model was produced only in 1995. There are several versions of this car (LAPD, FDNY, FD Chicago, Florida Highway patrol, etc) which are readily available, but the model with U.S. Army markings is very scarce today! Versions of this car were also made by First Gear for the Franklin Mint, where it was sold for a much higher price.

Packing and shipping is based on a weight of 2 pounds and is only my out-of-pocket cost. I pack and ship the same day payment is received. I'm not like some Internet sellers who build big profits into shipping and screw the buyer.
